The Avian Surveillance Initiative (ASI) began as a grassroots effort to expose government corruption and covert surveillance projects hidden in plain sight. Founded by whistleblowers, researchers, and activists, we are an independent organization dedicated to uncovering the truth about the government’s avian monitoring program. For years, the government has leveraged advanced technology to transform birds into surveillance drones, outfitted with microchips to collect video and audio data. ASI was formed to bring these unethical practices to light, spark a public outcry, and demand accountability.
