This has been my most exciting project that I've worked on so far. I mainly use Ubiquity for my network needs, using a UDM pro as it's heart. I also have a Truenas scale server thats running an Ubuntu VM. It hosts quite a few things, including the nginx server you're reading this on now!
A project I had a lot of fun doing that involved some code was for brother printers. Brother doesn't give you any tools to make buttons on their larger fax MFC printers. I was able to make a guide on how to use their proprietary tools to edit, create, and delete buttons remotely.
Throughout highschool I learned the basics of a couple languages. HTML, CSS, and Javascript were the 3 that we used the most. I've made or was a part of a group that made about 4 websites from scratch, including the one on my git hub!
I've spent countless hours interacting with my home server vm, and I've picked up quite a bit of knowledge along the way. I've made plenty of automation scripts for various programs I host. One of them being a script to auto pull the latest version of my git repo for my website, and then to update the site.
During my time at Russo Power, I had the chance to help setup a new store location. For 3 days we were sent out to New Berlin WI to finish all the terminations and install the server racks with their equipment.
Over time equipment breaks down and things fail. I have plenty of experience in taking apart laptops, desktops, and mobile devices. Experience is both from home and work, as I'm the family IT person.
